The Ripple Base is a permanent off-grid functional land-art installation under development at Burning Man Projects 'Fly Ranch' just 2 hours north of Reno Nevada. It's purpose is to re-nativize Fly Ranch, educate visitors on native ecology and spread regional restoration projects.
The Pyramid Lake Museum Medicine Garden was installed in 2022 by the Ripple Project guild with the Museum staff and dozens of volunteers. The garden showcases traditional Paiute architecture methods, native plants and educational signage to preserve the language of the Kooyooe Tukado band of Northern Paiute.
Fly Ranch Programming has included events such as willow-planting, cattail weaving workshops, guided nature tours, community discussion of ecological restoration and much more. (Photo: ibareitall.com)
