What is Ripple?

A station for the regeneration of native biodiversity and ecological knowledge, Ripple is an engaging educational space for community gatherings, workshops, and projects.

As of Summer 2022, prototyping has commenced for a permanent installation at Fly Ranch, a bountiful 3,800-acre plot of land in Nevada owned by Burning Man Project.

How did this happen?

Ripple won the Land Art Generator Initiative’s (LAGI) 2020 design challenge. The community liked our direction and has given us land to build Ripple alongside 9 other incredible projects.

Our transdisciplinary team consists of eco-tech designers, engineers, and horticulturalists, just to name a few. As of March 2022 we are fiscally sponsored by the 501(c)3 Far Away Projects so all donations towards Ripple Project are tax-exempt!

WHY RIPPLE?

We believe the Great Basin is special and should be protected.

Ripple offers the social, technological, and ecological infrastructure for us to protect it.
